In simple words, PKHeX is a save file editor for Pokémon games. That means you can Edit your Pokémon (IVs, EVs, shininess, abilities, you name it). You can even change your trainer info, Move Pokémon between boxes easily, and find mystery gifts and events.

How to Use PKHeX

Now we gonna tell you how to setup PKHeX in simple steps. Don’t worry. It’s super easy, and you’ll get the hang of it in no time.

First things first, grab your game’s save file:

If you’re using an emulator like Citra or Ryujinx, look for files named .sav, .main, or .bin.

Once you have it, just open PKHeX and either drag your file into the app or go to File > Open and load it manually.

Now, your men tuck began. Click on any Pokémon in your party or PC boxes. You can:

• Change its moves
• Make it shiny
• Boost its IVs and EVs
• Give it a Master Ball, ribbons, held items and whatever you want

Basically, make your dream team your reality.

Once you’ve made your edits, click the “Legalize” button.
This feature checks your changes and makes sure your Pokémon looks totally legit perfect for avoiding bans in online play or trades.

Last Step Is Save Youe File:
Click File > Export Save and overwrite your original save (or make a new one if you want a backup).
Then, put the edited file back into your emulator or use a tool like Checkpoint or JKSM on your Nintendo Switch to inject it back into your game.
